Juice Fasting or Soup Cleansing
Our detoxification retreats are simple and easy. During the warmer months, we drink a variety of delicious juices all day long, while abstaining from whole foods. During the cooler months, we consume wholesome, nourishing pureed vegetable stews, soups, and broths. Colonic irrigation is offered on site to help provide a thorough detox. And use of our near infrared sauna is recommended to enhance the detox. Unlimited broth and herbal teas are available. Your hostess lives privately on site so room service is always on call.
The retreat takes place at Willow Creek Country Inn in beautiful Bayfield, Ontario. The accommodations are provided in the Lodge which has 3 private suites each with ensuite, private entry, plus indoor access to a common area which boasts a large floor-to-ceiling artisan stone fireplace. The property is situated on 52 acres of humble countryside, while the renowned sunsets of Lake Huron are a 10-minute walk away. You may choose to relax and enjoy the serenity of our natural landscape from a hammock or you can can enjoy the tourism gem that is Bayfield and visit the shops of Main Street, or any of our town hiking trails. While there is no shortage of things to do here, you may also find yourself enjoying doing nothing at all!
The cleansing juices consumed during a summer retreat are slowly masticated and prepared fresh to provide optimum nutrition and bodily absorption. Because the digestive tract is relieved of its task of digesting food, there is more energy available to the body's tissues for detoxification. The colon hydrotherapy is an asset to this type of cleansing as it ensures the efficient elimination of toxins.
The nourishing soups consumed during a late fall, winter, or early spring retreat, are all pureed or strained for maximum digestive ease and bioavailability. Carefully selected ingredients aid in body detoxification and alkalizing nourishment. Individual needs are taken into consideration when planning the ingredients for both juice fasting and soup cleansing.
Our filtered drinking water is clean and free of chlorine and fluoride. (Berkey system) While we urge participants to adhere to consuming nothing but the provided juices, soups, water and broths, there may be instances where one requires a whole juice or snack, and we are happy to cater to individual needs as they arise. We also have available a variety of other tools for drainage and detoxification that are discussed during the intake phone call. Please call to schedule an intake phone call 1-888-565-7799 and we look forward to helping you with your health and wellness needs.
